10 Prehistoric Fish Still Living Up Now

1. Coelacanth  Coelacanth is the most famous of all "living fossil" and deserve to be # 1 in this list, because this is the best example of a Lazarus taxon, this is supposed to be long extinct animals and unexpectedly found alive today. These fish should have been extinct in the Cretaceous period, along with the dinosaurs, but in 1938, a live specimen was caught in South Africa. Since then, specimens have been seen and photographed, and even the second coelacanth species found in Indonesia in 1999. This is a large predator fish, 2 meters in length, they feed on small fish, including small sharks, and are usually found in the deep dark waters. 2. If it was for some reason hard to see clouds, can you imagine how much people would pay for the privilege? Like, if there was only one spot on Earth that had clouds, everyone would be going there and having these big spiritual experiences just from seeing the clouds.   This is a cloud I saw in Big Sur.
