Honda Jazz Most Secure





Honda cars in the United States won the safety and best fuel efficiency. The award for the best level of security provided to the Honda Jazz, Honda Civic, Honda CR-V and Honda Oddysey of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
Of the several variants of Honda Jazz (Honda Fit in the United States) awarded the 2009 Top Safety Pick from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), a car with the highest security level in its class. This model became the first mini-car in the class and the only one who managed to achieve certification from the IIHS.
At the Top Safety Pick award this year, Honda managed to become one of the brands that won the most awards for its products. In addition to the Honda Jazz, Honda's other products, the Honda Civic, Honda CR-V, Honda Odyssey and also the safest in its class model respectively. To achieve certification from the IIHS Top Safety Pick, every vehicle sold in the United States must go through the crash test with a very strict standard.  Tests performed included crash test hit the front, offset, side, rear, roof, bumpers and evaluation. In addition, all cars entering the nomination must be equipped with the latest electronic stability control (ESC) that makes this election year is more stringent than the previous year.
Awards for the Honda Jazz is not the level of security that this model was first obtained in 2009. Previously, the Honda Jazz is recognized as one of the cars with the highest level of security in Europe based on test results from Euro NCAP crash test (New Car Assessment Program). In the trial, the All-New Jazz became a best-in-class supermini car to reach the maximum rating, which is 5 stars.
Honda Jazz is equipped with various high-level safety features become standard for this model worldwide, including in Indonesia. Safety Systems in All New Honda Jazz, among others, technology G-CON (G-Force Control) and ACE (Advanced Compatibility Engineering) in the framework of the vehicle, SRS airbag, ABS braking system (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brake-Force Distribution) and BA (Braking Assist), body structure up to pedestrian protection to minimize injuries in case of collision with pedestrians.  These awards reflect the commitment of Honda in the field of vehicle safety. Any model that Honda has developed through the crash test on Real World Crash Test facility owned by Honda R & D in Tochigi, Japan. In rigorous tests, each car through the crash test using several different models of vehicle size and weight as well as from different sides of the collision to develop solutions that can alleviate the injury to passengers and pedestrians.
Besides the award for its safety level, Honda is rated as a car brand with the most efficient fuel consumption by the EPA (Evironmental Protection Agency). This nonprofit organization has a fleet of Honda announced the most fuel-efficient vehicles in the United States for 2009, with an average efficiency of the whole model is 23.6 mpg (miles per gallon).
